UBG, BMPP hold joint power show for FPCCI polls

Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori has said that dire need to strengthen the economic engine and the business community is the fuel source. The only way to fix the economy is to solve Pakistan’s economic crisis with one thought instead of fixing each other. Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori while addressing the FPCCI election’s Power Show under the joint platform of United Business Group and Businessmen Panel Progressive as the guest of honor said that we have to collectively reiterate to do something for the poor section of the country.

“Since the day I took the oath, the Governor’s House was open for the welfare of the people living below the poverty line in the province,” said the Governor. Kamran Tessori said that Pakistan was achieved after great sacrifices, where has it been taken today?

He said that the gas crisis is intensifying, industries are closing down, adding the that joint efforts required to resolve the issues. Governor Sindh commended the services United Business Group for FPCCI. “I believe that the strong leadership can play a role in boosting the economy by tackling the hurdles. The joint program of United Business Group (UBG) and Businessmen Panel Progressive (BMPP) hosted by Hamza Tabani, said that the has the responsibility to support joint candidates of UBG and BMPP to bring the country out of the economic challenges amicably. Chief Guest Governor Baluchistan Abdul Wali Kakar said that the performance of the leadership of United Business Group in the past has been impressive and it is hoped that in the future UBG will strive to solve the economic problems with new energy.

He said proper utilization of Balochistan’s resources would not only strengthen the province but also the country’s economy. UBG Patron-in-Chief and Punjab Caretaker Minister SM Tanveer said that his father SM Munir cultivated a plant which has now become a tree with full of fruits in the form of UBG.

He said that the United Business Group has carved diamonds within the leadership, their experiences can move the economy in the right direction. On this occasion, he told all the stakeholders associated with FPCCI that the year 2024 will bring prosper Pakistan and positive happenings for UBG in FPCCI. Joint presidential candidate of United Business Group (UBG) and Businessmen Panel Progressive (BMPP) and the former President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Atif Ikram Sheikh said that economic problems are piling up and resolving these will require the consistent struggle with unity and this will be possible only if UBG and businessmen panel Progressive get an absolute majority. “Viewing our past efforts, all the stakeholders now pledged the support in the four provinces. Atif Ikran Sheikh said that the UBG after the elections win will conquer new horizons in economic development. On this occasion, he thanked all the stakeholders and asked their full participation in the FPCCI elections.

Secretary General UBG (Sindh Region), Former Senior Vice President FPCCI and former Chairman ABAD Muhammad Hanif Gohar said that UBG is not just a platform but a continuation of a struggle whose leadership has worked tirelessly to bring the country out of the most difficult economic situation, the credit for which goes to the late SM Manor and his companions at present.

Hanif Gohar said that UBG does not believe in claiming the past achievements, but the practical measures and the reason today all the voters have come together on this platform. He expressed confidence that in the upcoming elections, UBG will come to the field with full majority and deliver to resolve economic challenges. Pattern-in-Chief ABAD Mohsin Sheikhani, while addressing the event said that the country at present stands at the most difficult economic juncture and it is not easy to cope with these conditions. He expressed that without unity we cannot move forward.

“Inflation has badly affected all the sectors and especially the people of the country”. Mohsin Sheikhani has urged the business communities to move forward to change the fate of the country. Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Sheikh Khalid Tawab Saqib Fayyaz Magoon, Mian Zahid Hussain, were among the speakers at the joint event of UBG and BMPP. They also urged FPCCI’s stakeholders to deliver their responsibility to choose right team in the elections. Renowned industrialist Arif Habib, Chairman ABAD Asif Sumsum, Chairman KATI and the founder PBG Faraz-ur-Rehman, Chairman and CEO Pakistan Observer Faisal Zahid Malik, former Chairman Abad and former VP, FPCCI Arif Jeeva, former Chairman SR Raheel Rinch, former presidents of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Akram Khan Kohati and stakeholders of FPCCI attended the ceremony.
