The Progress Rocket and Space Center, which is part of Roskosmos, shared its progress on the creation of the first Aist-2T satellite for stereoscopic imaging of the Earth.

According to the press service, the production of Aista-2T will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023. The press release clearly stated:

The planned manufacturing date for the Aist-2T spacecraft is the fourth quarter of 2023.

Recall that the Progress RCC is to create a complex for remote sensing of the Earth for stereoscopic imaging, consisting of two small spacecraft Aist-2T.

The main tasks of the satellites should be the acquisition of panchromatic and overlapping stereoscopic images and color images of the earth’s surface, the delivery of the target information received on board the vehicles via a radio channel to ground reception points.
