KARACHI – Pakistani Rupee advanced its winning streak against the US Dollar in interbank trading on Thursday.
Data shared by the State of Pakistan shows that rupee appreciated by Rs0.20. PKR climbed by Rs0.20 during the opening hours of trading in the inter-bank market.
With the continuous rise, the rupee soared to 283.94, with another increase in the interbank market.
Pakistani rupee remained unchanged against the greenback in the open market, while the local currency maintained an upward trend in the inter-bank market.
The local currency was being quoted at 285 for selling and 282 for buying purposes, data shared by Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP).
