An important Jirga of military, civil officials, leaders and youth regarding regional development, law, order and other important issues was held at Headquarters of Shawal Rifles Razmak in North Waziristan.
The participants of the jirga agreed to work jointly for the development, prosperity and peace of the region.
Commandant Shawal Rifles, Wing Commander 192 Wing, Assistant Commissioner, Tehsildar of Razmak participated in the Jirga on behalf of civil and military.
The tribal elders, youth and civil society representatives of Shakhimar, Shah Wali, Zikar Khel, Priyat, Shini, KaKa Khel, Karich Khel and Rogha Badar in the suburbs of Razmak and Garium participated in the jirga.
On this occasion, the participants of the Jirga expressed their full support to the law enforcement agencies and assured to play a positive role in establishing law and order. Various social and developmental issues were also discussed in the Jirga.
Later, the tribal elders Jirga expressed their desire to invite GOC Seven Division Major General Anjum Riaz to Razmak Sub-Division.
The participants of the Jirga expressed their views and said that such Jirgas provide effective communication and prove as a bridge between the government officials and the people.
