Karachi, Sindh weather update; smog/fog persists in upper districts

KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather for Karachi, Hyderabad and most districts of Sindh during the next couple of days.

According to the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

Under these conditions, mainly dry weather is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh on Tuesday night and the next two days.

Smog/fog is likely to prevail in Jacobabad, Mohenjodaro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki and Padidan during morning and night hours.

Smog/fog is likely to disturb vehicular flow in upper districts.

In Karachi, minimum temperature will likely remain between 14-16 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 15-17 C on Thursday. .

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature will likely remain between 13-15 C on Wednesday and 14-16 C on Thursday.

Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed across Sindh during the last 24 hours.

Mithi remained the coldest place in Sindh where mercury dropped to 07 C.

Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 86 per cent.

In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 15 C.

Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 85 per cent.

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 14 C.

Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 79 per cent.
