Indian troops launch violent CASO in Pulwama

Indian troops launched a violent cordon and search operation in Pulwama district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, today, subjecting the local people to immense inconvenience.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops cordoned off the Parigam area of the district and launched massive searches. Fear gripped the residents as the troops fired several bullets at different places in the area. The operation continued till last reports came in.

One man was killed and another critically injured after an Indian Army vehicle deliberately hit a motorcycle in Thathri area of Doda district, today. Indian troops are applying every tactic to kill and maim the Kashmiris. Besides guns, they are using vehicles for this purpose. The incidents of crushing innocent people to death keep on occurring every now and then.

The APHC leaders including Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Muhammad Saleem Zargar, Syed Bashir Andrabi, Javaid Ahmed Mir, Mir Shahid Saleem, Narender Singh Khalsa and Maulana Musaib Nadvi in their statements issued in Srinagar said India is an established violator of human rights and is continuously trampling the international laws and conventions in occupied Kashmir. They appealed to the world community to hold New Delhi accountable for its brutal actions in the occupied territory.

The President of Peoples Democratic Party, Mehbooba Mufti, in an interview in Srinagar said Narendra Modi-led Indian government has literally turned the whole occupied Jammu and Kashmir into a jail. She refuted the claims being made by the Modi regime about the normalcy in the occupied territory, saying that if there is normalcy why Indian jails are packed with Kashmiri youth.

The High Court of occupied Kashmir quashed the illegal detention of two persons booked under draconian law, Public Safety Act and directed the authorities to release them forthwith.—KMS
