The Islamabad High Court has reserved the verdict on PTI founder Imran Khan’s petition seeking suspension of his sentence order given by a sessions court in the Toshakhana criminal case.

The district and sessions Court awarded three years jail term to the former prime minister and PTI founder in the Toshakhana criminal case. A division bench of the Islamabad High Court comprising Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jehangiri on Monday heard the petition of the PTI founder to suspend the decision in the Toshakhana criminal case.

Advocate Latif Khosa and Shehbaz Khosa appeared on behalf of petitioner Imran Khan. While Amjad Pervaiz advocate appeared in the court on behalf of the Election Commission of Pakistan.

During the hearing, Amjad Pervaiz raised the objection that an application for this relief has been filed in the Lahore High Court, so the application is not admissible here in this court.
