In a significant political development, the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party scored another political victory as former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Federal Minister Hamayoun Akhtar formally joined its ranks.

Akhtar, expressing his commitment to advancing his political journey, pledged unwavering support to the IPP.

Hamayoun Akhtar Khan said that he spent a lot of time with the leaders of the IPP before joining it, and now once again, God gave him another chance to sit with them.

“After May 9 incidents, I parted ways with the PTI. Being son of a martyred general, it was not possible for me to know what happened to the monuments of the martyred and the residence on that day,” said Hamayoun Akhtar Khan while talking to the reporters along with the leaders of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party on Saturday.

IPP Chairman Jahangir Khan Tareen, President Aleem Khan, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Awn Chaudhary and other party leaders were present there on the occasion.

Hamayoun Akhtar said, “So, after six, seven months, I held many discussions with Jahangir Khan Tareen, he is my elder brother and Aleem Khan is my younger brother. And it is a reality. After consultations with my brothers and friends, I realized it right that this time, with our courage and experience, we should do something for the country that is facing serious challenges of inflation and unemployment,”.
