Hamas has released two US hostages — a mother and her daughter — “for humanitarian reasons” in response to Qatari mediation efforts, Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaida was quoted as saying by Reuters.
Amnesty International has offered new evidence of “unlawful Israeli attacks which caused mass civilian casualties and must be investigated as war crimes”.
In a post on X, Amnesty found that Israeli forces have shown a “shocking disregard for civilian lives”.
