Gold prices further fall in Pakistan amid negative global cues

KARACHI – Gold price in Pakistan fell for the fourth session on Tuesday in line with international trend.

Data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) shows that precious metal was priced at Rs213,600 per tola after the single-day decline of Rs1,800.

Meanwhile, the price of 10-gram gold stands at Rs183,128 after a drop of Rs1,543.

The price of gold moved down a downward trajectory, moving down by Rs10,000 per tola after back-to-back drops.

In the first week of Dec 2023, the precious metal hovered at Rs 223,600 per tola, and it dropped to Rs 215,600.

Globally, the price of the international rate stands at $2,005 per ounce, after a decline of $13.
