Gold price in Pakistan moves up in line with international market

Gold prices in Pakistan continue to increase amid the surge of prices in the international market.

Data shared by the jewelers association revealed a surge of Rs400 in the domestic market.

The 24-karat gold rate saw hike of Rs400 and the new price touched Rs217,200 per tola.

For small quantities, 10 grams of 24-karat gold soared to Rs186,215. The price of 22-karat gold increased to Rs170,696.

Globally, the price of per ounce gold reached 2025 after moving up by $7.50.

Yellow metal remained volatile in crisis-hit country amid a political crisis and the masses continue to buy bullion as safe investment.
