CTD arrests nine terrorists in Punjab IBOs

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested nine terrorists during intelligence based operations (IBOs) in various cities of Punjab, a CTD spokesperson said on Monday. The spokesperson said that the CTD conducted operations against members of banned outfits in Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Sialkot and Hafizabad. Meanwhile, two people were held in Lahore for extending financial assistance to defunct TTP. —INP
