The protest sit-in by the residents of Pak-Afghan border Angoor Adda in South Waziristan Lower (SWL) has entered the 20th day in favor of their legitimate demands. The organizers of the sit-in have closed the Pak-Afghan Angoor Adda main highway for all traffic.
The sit-in were attended by leaders of political parties, scholars, tribal elders and youths besides people of different schools of thought. The organizers said that in this modern era, the people of Angoor Adda are facing severe difficulties, and thousands of families are deprived of basic facilities. The sit-in participants said that they were forced to sit-in.
